I’ve always wondered what Harry and Ginny’s relationship was like when they were married. Due to Harry’s past, I have a feeling he might be slightly emotionally abusive towards her. That would explain why she had no say in her kids names. They may have been happy, but I don’t know if he ever treated her like an equal. And based on the way they grew up, I don’t think either would have noticed.
I don’t think so. Harry desperately needed a family and now that he has one with Ginny, I’d like to think that he appreciates it a lot more than others would. He always treated Ginny as an equal and one of the reason he loves her is because she’s so strong and independent and doesnt take shit from anyone. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of Harry/Ginny, I think they’re quite happy. And maybe Ginny was the one who suggested Lily’s middle name be Luna. She was quite close to her.
